Our digestive system is designed to work best when it is fed regularly. It still works some when we are not eating, but it works most when it is receiving and digesting (and getting rid of ) food.
For our digestive system to work well, we need to put good, wholesome, nutritious food into it. When we skip meals, eat junk, then overeat when we do eat, it wreaks havoc on our digestive system.
